2020 is the 20th anniversary of Jubal.

This is the 3rd Tantalus album, first released in 2000 and then re-released in 2006 and recorded by Force Ten Productions in North Cornwall

At the time of recording in 1999/2000 the Tantalus line-up was as follows:

Rob Leek - Lead Vocals/Acoustic Guitar
Tim Day - Guitar
Max Hunt - Keyboards/Vocals/Percussion
Gerlinde Hunt - Keyboards/Recorders/Vocals
Jason Tilbrook - Bass/12 String Guitars/Balalaika/Mandolin

The original front cover features a photo of the waterfall at St Nectan's Glen near Tintagel in North Cornwall.

Jubal features in the book of Genesis in the Hebrew Torah (Bible)

Tantalus were formed in 1993 by Max Hunt & Rupert Wilder in southern England, producing their first album as a duo that year. The band produced a total of 5 albums between 1993 and 2002 (Smoking Angels, Short Stories, Jubal, Lumen Et Caligo 1 & 2) and toured the UK and Europe ending as a 5 piece band in 2006.
